ForestHill provides academic support through structured guidance and individualized pacing, helping students build confidence, independence, and sustainable learning habits. Support may be offered as a standalone program or alongside activity-based programs, based on each student’s needs.
Support across core academic subjects at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, including — but not limited to — mathematics, sciences, humanities, and languages.
We work with students in a variety of academic systems, including public school curricula and IB programs.
Structured preparation and skills-based support for standardized assessments, including:
• AP
• SAT
• ACT
Our approach emphasizes foundational understanding, strategic thinking, and test readiness rather than short-term memorization.
Support for students developing confidence and clarity in verbal communication, including:
• Public speaking
• Presentation skills
• Structured expression and idea organization
These skills are often integrated into academic work to support classroom participation and long-term academic confidence.
In addition to subject-specific support, we work with students on the skills that underpin academic success:
• Study skills and learning strategies
• Organization and time management
• Planning and workload management
• Executive skills development
Academic support is delivered in a structured yet flexible format designed to meet students where they are.
• 1:1 or small-group sessions
• Clear learning goals and individualized pacing
• Emphasis on skill-building alongside subject mastery
• Consistent routines that support focus and confidence
ForestHill’s academic support is designed for students who:
• Need structured academic guidance
• Benefit from consistent routines and pacing
• Are working toward improved organization and study skills
• Seek support that builds independence and long-term confidence
• May be navigating academic pressure, transitions, or increased demands
ForestHill programs are private, activity-based services. We do not provide therapy, clinical services, or manage
funding or insurance claims.
